Mars Software Installation Guide

This installation guide is only for the reference of the first Installer. The installation methods are default. The installation environment is set to clean and only for the servers used by the Martian.

The installation goal of this article isInstall the Martian software under the Martian directory on the default siteIf you want to install it on other sites and directories, adjust the settings.

1. runtime environment requirements

The Martian can only run on Windows and IIS. the required environment is as follows:

• Server Operating System: Windows server2003, Windows server2008, and Windows 7 (home advanced edition and higher ),Windows Server or Windows 7 is recommended
• Web Services: IIS6, iis7;Iis7 is recommended
• Database: SQL Server express 2008 r2
• Browser: chrome, ie9;Chrome is recommended,No Operating System Restrictions
• Client operating system: unlimited. You can use ie9 or chrome (version 19 or later) browsers.

2. Copy the Martian file and set access permissions. 1. Create the Martian folder under the root directory of the default IIS website file (for example, c: \ Inetpub \ wwwroot"

2. Copy the extracted files in the installation package to the newly created folder.


3. After the file is copied, you need to set the system account access permission for the folder. Click to view: configure the user access permission for the Martian folder.
3. Configure IIS

If you are using a Windows server2003 operating system, refer to IIS6 configuration: Martian Software Installation Guide-configure IIS6 if you are using a Windows server2008 or Windows 7 operating system, refer to iis7 Configuration: martian Software Installation Guide-configure iis7 4 to run Martian

After completing the above operations, the Martian software should be able to work properly.

Open your browser and enter "http: // servername/Martian/home" to access the Martian software.
