We need to load the Mr Renderer before rendering the white mode.
The operations are as follows: WINDOW> Settings/preferences> plug-in manager. Find mayatomr and select loaded and automatically loaded.
First, we need to select all models that require white-mode rendering. in the lower right corner of Maya, click the rendering menu bar. By default, there is a masterlayer layer. Click create new layer and specify the selected object, as shown in.
At this time, we created a new paintlayer layer1. Right-click and select Properties from the drop-down menu, as shown in
In the new window, we also click the preset and select the mask from the drop-down menu (if the Mr Renderer is not loaded, there is no mask option here)
The view is as follows:
We can adjust a proper angle to render the current frame and view the effect, as shown in. We generally give the model a ground for white-mode rendering. The rendering of complicated models will look better.
We can see that there are a lot of hot spots in the figure above. Below we can reduce the number of hot spots by setting the modification parameters.
Click the select button next to the output color to enter the sub-menu. There are two options for us to understand. One is sample. We can increase the value to reduce the number of vertices, the other is max distance, which is mainly used to adjust the distance between black and white. We can change the value and then render and view the effect.
We will change the sample to 64 and the max distance to 5 respectively to get the rendering image as follows. You can compare it with the previously rendered image.
