Microsoft Excel cannot access files

Microsoft Excel cannot access the file "C: \ Users \ iimax \ Documents \ test.xls ". Possible causes include:

• The file name or path does not exist.
• Files are being stored by othersProgram.
• The workbook you want to save has the same name as the one currently opened.

Quartz. NET is used to write a service to convert office documents to PDF files. The above error is reported when you publish to Windows Server 2008.

This operation took away office automation problems in my system.

A Desktop Folder seems to be necessary in the systemprofile folder to open file by Excel.

It disappears from windows2008, Windows2003 had the folder,


And I think it cause this error.

You can solve the problem by creating a desktop directory under the C:/Windows/system32/config/systemprofile and C:/Windows/syswow64/config/systemprofile directories.
