MS Open Tech and MS Open Tech China are growing fast, so we need people who can work in an agile and dynamic environment. this is a great opportunity to work with non-Microsoft stacks and to learn about open source. the position offers an opportunity to do highly visible work that deeply impacts Microsoft core businesses. you will be a software development engineer who will work with internal FTE devs, PMS, and vendors to create open source solutions for critical Microsoft products and technologies.

Embracing the innovation happening in the open source is critical for the long term success of the Microsoft ecosystems. building an agile infrastructure to work quickly and every tively with the communities to leverage and cross-pollinate the innovation we build is critical.

Your job will be participating very diverse software development projects, such as R & D proof-of-concept study, prototype implementation, patching and contributing to the existing popular open source software, integrating different open source software with proprietary software into a working system, building highly scalable, distributed system in the cloud, and building platform to support various of mobile and wearable devices.

Key requirements

-A very versatile software developer, with natural curiosity and habit to keep up with the latest technologies and open source software. Always ready to learn new ages and new systems.

-2 + years of intense working experience on open source software, especially in the cloud environment and/or on mobile platform

-Familiar with Linux and Windows operating systems, having solid algorithm and Data Structure Foundations, fluent in more than two general purpose programming languages and popular scripting languages like Java/C #/C ++/JavaScript/Python/Ruby/perl/PHP/Scala/groovy/go,

-Familiar with common frameworks and OSS packages

-Experience with agile processes with the necessary knowledge of current software engineering practices

-Work both independently and in a team. A good communication skill is important to work in the Cross-function environment

-Previous experiences with big data, distributed computing, cloud and mobile computing development are desired
