Microsoft performancepoint can be saved as a report, KPI, scorecard, and dashboard. the bswx file, but moving from the development machine to the server machine, or getting how to set the data source from other machines, has plagued the author for a long time. This problem has always occurred in my mind since I started to access this tool, however, I still don't need to do this, so I didn't have to think about how to do it. Today I have been working on it for a long time when I want to get a demo developed elsewhere for configuration on the server, to solve this problem.
The report is not provided in the dashboard. The KPI modifies the data source settings (it seems that this tool is not as good as proclarity). After looking for a long time, I just cannot find how to change it.
Later I found that the original. bswx file is actually a file similar to an XML file. It can be opened and modified using vs2005 or other tools.
The following describes how to modify the Data source:
1. Get the. bswx file that is developed on another machine and where the server is located
2. Open the. bswx file and delete the original data source.
3. Reset the target SharePoint website set. Add the data source and publish it to the server.
4. Create a project temp on the dashboard, create a report, use the data source you just created, and save
5. Open temp. bswx in a text document, find the report's dataresourceid, and copy
6. Use vs2005 to open the. bswx file of the data source to be modified, and replace all the dataresourceids in it with the ID copied in step 1.
7. This should be done (the specific problem should be analyzed ).
PS: I still like it.CodeThese tools are less programmable.
