There was a problem with MySQL installation recently:
1. The operating system is different, the installation process is removed, the cleanup is also different:
Window 7: During the installation of the MySQL process, the final installation to the start service when the service has a problem, and then uninstall, after unloading followed by the same error, the following is how the uninstall process completely uninstalled:
1) Find the MySQL installation path, currently the default C drive, and then find the Organization menu----folder and search Options-----View tab, there is a show hidden files, folders and drives, tick, and then the C drive below there is a Programdata folder, Delete the MySQL folder under this folder.
2) Locate the Control Panel and remove the MySQL service program.
3) Delete the corresponding files from the corresponding MySQL installation path at the same time
4) Restart the machine, re-install, it's done.
Windows XP operating system:
1) Management tools-Services, find MySQL service, stop off
2) Locate the Control Panel and remove the MySQL service program. (via mysql cmd command, remove delete, hint success)
3) Delete the corresponding files from the corresponding MySQL installation path at the same time
4) Restart the machine, re-install, it's done.
MySQL installation error
