New industries and projects

Two years later, I once again became familiar with a new industry and a new project.

Today is the first day of work this year. This year's job is not very easy to find. A month or two is said to be the "most difficult job season ". Therefore, I did not dare to choose another one. I chose a suitable industry, which is my favorite field. My current employer is a company that develops ERP systems and services for the elevator industry.

Starting with the new project, we will start from the relevant documents, the company's project technical whitepaper, and related manuals. Since we have no ERP experience, we only know the concept of ERP. Once again, I learned about the background of ERP and found that ERP cross-domain is really great and challenging. The company developed ERP only for the elevator manufacturing industry, so the goal is clear. The company's platform has six core subsystems, one of which is involved today. The project is relatively old. It is a framework set up in 252, and no relevant documents are available. There are tables in the project dB, which is the first big one. If you find a login table, you will find it for half a day. So I will continue to read the technical white paper later (Fortunately, there is a white paper for customers), So I know a little about the company's projects.

This week's task is to repeat the company's six major subsystems (such as the role of the system), so I will forward the five days of this week to 2-3 days of the related subsystem business, first, familiarize yourself with the functions of the relevant system, and check the current subsystem within 1-2 days.CodeTo understand the relevant business processes and project structure.

I took a company's web project, referenced the framework, and ran the project at noon. The UI was really rough (I spoke about it). After all, it seems that the front-end has not been reconstructed in the later stage, therefore, it is always necessary to develop functions. The data volume is relatively large. My colleagues in the company said that millions of subsystems have reached tens of millions. This afternoon, a colleague exported data and the SQL server went down halfway... 8 GB server memory, hard to run to more than 7 GB, the server configuration is really not good.
