Not a lecture material

This afternoon, our Department arranged a business study. The so-called business learning is to turn people in the department to give a brief introduction to the areas of their expertise to others, such as the network administrator to introduce the application of network management software, video and news producers introduce the principles of streaming media broadcast. Today it's my turn to go to the podium. The content is what I learned when I went to Beijing for training.

During my 4-day and 3-night stay in Beijing, I actually attended the lectures one morning and one afternoon. I went to bed and went shopping at other times ~ Even so, I have a rough understanding of the system introduced by the State Administration of China and the bird company. Moreover, this concept system is based on virtual technology and does not need to be exposed to the underlying details, so if I want to repeat it, it should not be a problem. I think of this lecture as an opportunity to exercise and blow water. Haha!

I started to talk about it. According to the outline structure of the technical document during the training, I tried to reconstruct the company's system in front of everyone through my previous understanding. When encountering some mysterious technical concepts, I simply inserted some explanations; while explaining the entire system process, I used some metaphors and compared them with our existing systems; I also drew several structure charts on the whiteboard to help introduce the overall structure ......

About 30 minutes in total, a highly concentrated explanation. As a result, only the Director can understand the problem. I'm a doctor. I don't know how to understand it. I like it! More importantly, he can keep asking me questions. You know, a person who cannot hear clearly cannot ask questions about these highly technical things, because he cannot find the start point for the question. Fortunately, I can answer questions from the Director. Otherwise, I am afraid that he will notice that I have skipped a class ~

Afterwards, I analyzed why so few people understood it. Different people are familiar with different technical fields, which leads to different cross-domain comprehension capabilities. This is one reason. The more important reason may be that my level of lectures is not enough to show a system in such a short period of time. Knowing one thing doesn't mean knowing how to teach others such things. I don't have a scene, and I think the volume is not small, but the key is that I am not good at keeping abreast of the listener's response, and I don't know how to use interactive communication to help the audience understand the difficulties. Well, we hope to make some improvements in the future.

However, in the final analysis, I probably don't know how to speak in public. I didn't give myself a chance to exercise since I was a child ......
