OpenSSL is an open-source SSL implementation that implements high-strength encryption for network communication. It is widely used in various network applications.
The dual release vulnerability exists in parsing malformed DSA keys of OpenSSL 1.0.2 and earlier versions, 1.0.1 and earlier versions, which can cause affected applications to reject services or cause memory corruption.
