Filters required: Gaussian blur, lighting effects
Three-dimensional text effects are often used in many design works, it is not only beautiful and eye-catching, by the majority of friends love. Below we will introduce a quick three-dimensional word effect method, which is mainly through the Gaussian blur and lighting effect two filters to achieve. Of course, the method introduced here is not necessarily the fastest, but can give beginners some inspiration, explore a faster way.
1. Start Photoshop CS, create a new canvas, use the Type tool to enter text, and then hold down the CTRL key to use the move
Move tool Click the text layer, load the selection, enter the channel palette, click the "Store as channel" button at the bottom, and create a new text channel
2. Execute "filter → Blur → Gaussian blur" command, set "radius" to 4.2 in the Gaussian Blur dialog box, the effect is shown in Figure 1.
3. Return to the "layer" palette, activate the text layer, perform the filter → render → lighting effect command, open the Lighting Effects dialog box, where you set texture channel to Alpha
1, the other parameters are set as shown in Figure 2. and adjust the light direction.

Text has a slight stereo effect after the lighting effect filter is executed. In order to make the effect more intense, while holding down the ALT key, click the arrow keys to copy the text multi-level, so that the text produces thickness, and finally cancel the selection, for the text layer to add a projection layer style, the effect as shown in Figure 3.
