Photoshop to make a new spring festival Red Lantern

The effect of the picture can be seen the main composition of the lantern is a little complicated. 2, a new group, with a pen to check out the outline of the body, into a selection after the group to add a layer mask. can also directly use the following image of the material, save with PS Open, drag in to use.

3, create a new layer in the group, select the Gradient tool, color settings such as Figure 3, from top to bottom pull out red to dark red linear gradient.

4, create a new layer, and start making the left side of the dark part of the area. First, use a pen to check out the approximate dark area, feather 15 pixels and then fill the dark red. The edges and darker parts of the bottom need to be created with a new layer, with a pen to tick the selection, and a darker red after the feather, as shown in Figure 4-6.
