1 PMP Introduction

PMP (project management professional) is a project management professional (Personnel) certification. 4 registration conditions

The applicant must have over 35 hours of Project Management PMBOK learning or training experience, and present a copy of the relevant certificate.

The applicant shall have at least 4500 hours of project management experience in the five major project management processes, and, within six years prior to the date of application, the cumulative number of project management months shall reach at least 36 months.

Note: When calculating the month of project management, the required 36 months are independent and non-overlapping.

Category 2: persons without a bachelor's degree or an equivalent university degree or above

The applicant shall have at least 7500 hours of project management experience in the five major project management processes, and, within 8 years prior to the date of application, the cumulative number of project management months shall reach at least 60 months.

5 exam time

PMP exams are conducted four times a year in China. They are organized and implemented by the training center of the state administration of foreign experts in March, June, September, and December each year. The exam time in 2014 is: March 22, June 28, September 20, and December 13.

6. Exam content

PMP includes five project management processes:

Start: Establish a project or a project stage.

Plan: develop and maintain an operational plan to complete the project.
