Problems with the ntsysv command Setting Automatic startup

Reading the Book of laruence saw the ntsysv command to modify the startup Item. As a result, the attempt failed. I tried it like this:

1. Sudo ntsysv

2. Find the service item to be set, such as MySQL. For example, if the 2345 grade is on, press a space to cancel it.

3. Press the tab key to OK, and then press ENTER

4. Sudo chkconfig -- list MySQL shows that the level 2345 is on.

I don't know why. It's a virtual machine in VMware.
