Process description of SCM Basics

Software development is generally divided into: planning stage, development stage and maintenance stage

Planning phase: overall R & D Plan-> Configuration Management Plan:

1. CCB identifies milestones and development strategies in the development plan
2. The CMO (configuration administrator) formulates the configuration management plan according to the CCB plan and submits it to the CCB for review.
3. After CCB is approved, it will be submitted to PM for approval and release

Development and maintenance phase:

1. CCB sets the initial baseline for R & D activities
2. The CMO sets up a configuration Library Based on the Software Configuration Management Plan to complete authorization.
3. System Integration Officer,Sio) Build a system
4. Based on the project progress, CCB reviews various change requests to define the new baseline in real time.
