Step 1: Open the picture
First, open the picture you want in Photoshop. You can choose "Open ..." from the File menu. If you do not have the available photos on hand, you can
Click here to download the photos used in this tutorial.
Step 2: Create a new layer
On the Layers panel, click "Create New Layer". Then change the blending mode of layer 1 to color filter.
Step 3: Add a Gradient
Set the foreground color to white first. You can choose to use shortcut keys, successively press the keyboard D and X. Next, select the Gradient tool in the left toolbar and use a radial gradient (the default is a linear gradient). Simulate the effect of the sun's glow, using the mouse to draw a line. Of course, you can undo the operation a few more times until the light looks incredibly natural.
Step 4: Add photo filter
OK, now we're going to add a photo filter adjustment layer. Go to "layer" → "New adjustment layer" → "photo filter". With the default setting, the opacity is set to 100%.
Step 5: Change the blending mode
If necessary, change the blending mode to overlay and reduce the opacity.
