Roman Jusdado shows us the process of making the iOS icon from the sketch stage to the real effect through the PS layer style. Let's take a look at this very powerful effect chart:
The specific drawing steps are as follows:
In the tutorial, I'll explain, by glowing and projecting to make the real effect, that is, a phonograph app icon. Using PS's powerful layer style, I'll show you how to accomplish this powerful effect in a short time.
We'll also use a way to quickly change the color of textures, and I'll share some of the experience in creating real-world effects.
01 first draw the sketch of the logo, I first draw a general new clothes, and then add some elements of detail, such as magnetic mouth and knob. I want to make the sketch look a little three-dimensional, but not using perspective. So I added rounded corners to make the icon look like an open box.
02 Scan your early baldness into PS. Select the Gradient tool to fill your background with a black-gray gradient. Next, use the rounded Rectangle tool to draw the square of the 512px*512px and set the rounded corners to 90px. Now hold down opt or ALT and select the graphic, create a new folder named Icon, and then add a masking mask to the folder.

03 is very important for color selection of icons. To reflect the texture, I chose dark brown to replace the original black, and the knob changed to light brown.
