Reducing PDC Load

• The lower the SRV record "Priority" in DNS, the higher the priority.
• The higher the "weight", the higher the priority ("burden" under 2000 ")

You can increase the priority of the PDC bearer machine and lower the weight to reduce the PDC load.

If you directly modify the dns srv record, the restart of the netlogon service will recover again. You need to modify the related options in the registry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Services \ netlogon \ ParametersCreate two DWORD values in the right window:

Ldapsrvpriority gives the corresponding decimal priority (the smaller the value, the higher the priority, and vice versa)

Ldapsrvweight gives the corresponding decimal weight (the larger the value, the higher the priority, and vice versa)

Restart the netlogon Service
