You can use the following method when you cannot uninstall SQLServer2000 by using the normal method:
(1) Enter "Regedit.exe" in the "Start-run" pop-up window of computer windows and delete the following options in the (Registry Editor) that appears.

# HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server

In addition, there are

(Note To delete the Microsoft SQL Server folder as a whole)
(2) Manually remove the SQL Server 2000 default installation directory C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server.
(3) Restart the computer.
This should uninstall the key files, reinstall no more error prompts, if not at ease, you can use the Registry Cleanup tool OK Registry Scan Repair!
After the installation is successful and restarted, if you open Enterprise Manager to display no items , you can use the following workaround:
(1). Open SQL Server Enterprise Manager, then right-click the SQL Server group and select "New SQL Server Registration" in the pop-up menu;
(2). According to the wizard-style window, please fill in the Server IP address (if local select local), if necessary, then enter the user, password and other information.
(3). Enterprise Manager appears in the local group, OK.
