IPhone applicationsProgramThere are two types of release, one is to officially sell through App Store, and the other is ad hoc, for specific users to release their own programs, without approval by Apple.

What are the benefits of using ad hoc? You can:

    • Publish your own programs to friends and family at no charge
    • Before the program is officially uploaded, you can get a review of more people.
    • The provisioning profile for Apple device development has a three-month restriction. If the profile is not changed after three months, the program cannot be used. If it is changed to ad hoc, can be extended to your IDP deadline
    • Use various private APIs and other apple-prohibited features without worrying about being reject

however, ad hoc publishing is still restricted, that is, a maximum of 100 devices can be published.
