SCANF cannot receive a string that cannot be successfully assigned to a pointer problem

Char name2[]; Char *name cannot be used with scanf, No space pointer can only accept address default is 8 bytes

( @ "%lu,%lu" sizeof Span style= "Color:rgb (0,0,0);" > (name1), sizeof (name2));   print result 8 20 20 space, the pointer is just the default 8 scanf just accept the numeric value without space, so you can't accept it with a defined pointer
