Set automatic start of VMware upon startup

Workstation version can also be started on its own ~ The procedure is as follows:
1. required tools: instsrv.exeand srvany.exe
These two tools are available in Windows 2003 Resource Kit tools. I have stored both files in D: \ VMware.

The installation path of vmware.exe. 3. Create a service
Assume that the service name is vm_autostart and the following syntax is used to install the service: instsrv <service name> <srvany path> so my command line is: instsrv vm_autostart D: \ VMware \ srvany.exe
4. register the service
In the registry, locate HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Services \ vm_autostart to create a new item: "Parameters" in the "Parameters" item, create a new string "application", the string value: "D: \ VMware Workstation \ vmware.exe"-X "D: \ VMware \ My virtual machines \ Windows XP Professional. vmx"
5. Set the Virtual Machine startup status
Management tools-services, select vm_autostart attributes-log on, select "Local SYSTEM account", and select allow service and desktop interaction to download files
