In this article we apply Nintex to create a simple workflow.
First create a custom list to hold the leave data for use, we are called Leave application Bar. Create the necessary fields: leave of Absence (Reason), classification (category), Days of Leave (Daycount), start date (startdate), End Date (EndDate), approver (approver), Approval status (status).
Then we select the List tab, and in the workflow settings there, choose to create a Nintex workflow.
At this point we go to the Nintex Workflow design page, on the left there is a list of tools, the middle content is the design panel, above the Operation menu. You can drag from the toolbox on the left to the panel, or you can click on the select Insert operation on the node of the design panel. When you go to the page, you will be prompted to choose a template, you can cancel your own design, you can choose a template and then make changes.
Leave list has a ready-made template, I directly selected one, on the second picture above. Then we do some simple configuration of the process, the management of the approval node point down arrow Select Configuration, here is the task about the configuration information, I simply made some changes, the approver choose my own users and other configuration such as.
Click Save to return to the workflow design panel, you can see that the active node has a yellow exclamation mark warning flag, mouse over there can be viewed to the prompt message "Form type is set to Nintex Forms but the Form have not been created." 。 This is because I chose the type of form Nintex forms when I modified the configuration above, and the content type of the task changed accordingly to Nintex Workflow task using Nintex forms, so let's save this workflow first. Next, create a Nintex form, and the next article will continue due to limited space.
