Step 1: Go to the management center and click manage services on the server
Step 2: select the server on which the search service is to be carried and start Sharepoint Server search on the service list
Step 3: Enter the management service application from the Management Center
Step 4: Create a search service application
Step 5: Fill in the corresponding information in the pop-up new window and click OK. Note that
- You can select an existing application pool or enter a new name. After you enter a new one, the application will create an application pool later. Generally, we recommend that you create an application pool.
- By default, the crawling component crawls the network using the configured search service account. Therefore, the search service account should be a domain user with the read permission on the content source.
Step 6: Enter the background of the primary website of the website set, and create an enterprise search center in the website and work zone.
