The question seems to be a bit of a scam. But in general, it can be described as two of my recent extreme feelings. During this period, the main focus was on the development of the two websites. One is completely new and completely written by myself. It is written using ASP. NET 2.0. The other is to maintain a website written in the 1990s s, including modifying and adding some functions. It is done by me and the other three, Using CGI/C ++.
Basically, the total workload of the two websites is almost the same as that of the two websites. However, it is almost impossible to develop it. I wrote the first website very quickly, and completed it in a week before and after. I felt that its complexity was beyond my expectation, but there was ASP. NET 2.0 powerful features, or make me more comfortable, is a pleasure. However, the second website suffered a lot. It was the first time for me to use C ++ to write a CGI website. The four of them have basically completed their major functions today. It is estimated that the first version will be delivered tomorrow.
In fact, when I took over the second website development task, I thought that even if this website is rewritten using ASP, it is definitely better than maintaining the existing CGI.ProgramIt is much faster. However, the customer had to die, so everyone had to go back to the game 10 years ago. After taking over the project, I looked at it and felt a little too big. Due to the lack of language, the original technical documents could not be understood and I tried again.
When assigning tasks, the person in charge suggested that you divide tasks equally by PAGE and function, which made me feel bad, because it meant that everyone should be familiar with all the systems. As a result, I proposed that it would be better to allocate resources by function, and then serve as the author to modify the underlying database of the website. Now it seems that this decision is correct, because the customer later advances the delivery date of the first version by eight days. If the database structure and access interface layer have not been basically completed, I am afraid this advance cannot be completed on time. Another advantage is that although it was relatively hard in the early stage, it was relatively leisurely later, and the maintenance page is still being changed.
In contrast, another website written using ASP. NET is dozens of times more productive. So I thought of this essay. One of the technical difficulties is probably that multiple pages in the framework page are updated in order. At one time, there was a little bit of research, but finally JavaScript was used to solve the problem. Haha.
These two websites are about to be delivered and there are no urgent product development tasks recently. It seems that you can focus on technical research and framework development for a period of time.
