An Excel chart contains an x-axis and an y-axis to identify the category and value sizes. However, to display data of different numerical units in a chart, it is difficult to clearly display all data by using only one ordinate axis.
The "Double Y axis" chart is used to display and analyze data of different numerical units in the same chart. The procedure is as follows:
(1) In the Excel 2013 worksheet, right-click the chart at any position, in the "chart elements" drop-down list box in the "floating toolbar", select "series 'North China percentage '".
(2) press Ctrl + 1 to quickly open the "set data series format" dialog box, on the series options tab, select the secondary Axis radio button in the "draw this series in" option area to draw the current series on the secondary axis.
(3) set the spacing to "80%" in the "category spacing" option area on the "series options" tab, and select the "NONE" radio button on the "fill" tab; on the "border color" tab, select the "solid line" radio button and set the color to "red "; on the border style tab, set "dashes type" to "dashes ".
(4) After the data series format is set, the information of the two data series to be displayed in the chart can be clearly visible.
