It is easy to access WebService in Silverlight 1.1. I have read a brother who previously wrote that using Asp.net ajax to access WebService in Silverlight, probably because version 1.0 can only use JavaScript.

For bi, because it is a hosting code, it should be much easier. WebService can be more flexible.
