Use mysqladmin to delete a database:

Special permissions are required to create or delete a MySQL database. Therefore, we assume that you can use mysql mysqladmin binary to create any database for root user access.

Delete any database with caution because it will lose all available data in the database.

Use a PHP script to delete a database:

PHP uses the mysql_query function to create or delete a MySQL database. This function has two parameters. If success returns TRUE or failure, FALSE is returned.
