Simulation process of Saber software

There are two main ways to use the Saber software for simulation analysis: one is to carry out simulation analysis based on the schematic diagram, and the other is to carry out simulation analysis based on the network table.

The basic process of the previous method is as follows:

A. complete schematic input in sabersketch;

B. Use the netlist command to generate the corresponding network table for the schematic diagram;

C. Load the network Table file corresponding to the schematic diagram to the simulator using the simulate command, and start the saberguide interface in the sketch;

D. Set the required simulation analysis environment on the saberguide interface and start the simulation;

E. analyze and process the simulation results using the cosmosscope tool after the simulation is completed.

In this method, you need to use the sabersketch and cosmosscope tools, but starting from the schematic, it is more intuitive. therefore, most saber users use this method for simulation analysis. however, one bad thing about it is that the simulation analysis settings and Result observation are carried out in two tools. If you need to modify the test repeatedly, you need to switch back and forth between the two windows, which is troublesome. the other method can make up for its shortcomings.

The basic process of network table-based analysis is as follows:

A. Start the saberguide environment, that is, the saber simulator icon that everyone sees at ordinary times, and use the load design command to load the net table file to be simulated;

B. Set the required simulation analysis environment on the saberguide interface and start the simulation;

C. observe and analyze the simulation results directly in the saberguide environment after the simulation is completed.

This method requires much less steps than the previous one, and can simulate and analyze the target system in a single environment, which is highly efficient. however, it is not intuitive because it is based on a network table. Therefore, it is mostly used when the structure of the circuit system is stable and only needs to be debugged repeatedly; you also need to have a good understanding of the syntax structure of the Saber software network table, so that you can directly edit the network Table file when you need to modify the circuit parameters and structure.
