Small functions in JavaScript

The SMALL function method in JavaScript is to add the HTML <SMALL> identity to both ends of the text in a string object. How to use:

　　strVariable.small( )
"String Literal".small( )

The following example shows how the small function method in JavaScript is used:

var strVariable = "This is a string";
strVariable = strVariable.small( );

After the previous statement, the strvariable value is:

<SMALL>This is a string</SMALL>

Does not check whether the identity has been applied to the string.
