I found an interesting phenomenon in my bedroom. Many times, one afternoon, there were six people sitting in the bedroom. If four of them climbed to bed to go to bed, then the remaining two will soon go to bed. This is not the case if only one or two people start to sleep.
Note: I am talking about the afternoon, not the evening. sleeping at night is the trend of the times. In the afternoon, the feeling of being sleepy varies from person to person, the probability of six people getting sleepy at the same time is very small, but according to my observation, as long as more than half of them go to bed, basically, the rest will soon feel sleepy and go to bed. No doubt, I am often one of the rest.
I was very interesting when I observed this phenomenon. I also thought of another phenomenon, namely, the spread of yawning, which has already been studied with great authority.
"Yawning" refers to a kind of body language that humans inherit from the ancestor of community life. In the ancient ape community, its repeated appearance expresses the meaning of "I am sleepy. The so-called "infectious yawning" is actually "yawning imitation", which is a psychological suggestion, different from the cold infection. When you see another person yawning, the visual will stimulate the cerebral cortex, stimulate neuroreflection, an instinctive phenomenon.
In the case of yawning, the most important thing is "psychological suggestion". However, only by a body language of others, a psychological suggestion is generated and this action of yawning is made, it is amazing.
Unlike yawning, sleeping has a higher implementation cost. You need to climb to bed (bottom bunk), take off your clothes, and put down what you have to do to sleep.
I don't know whether this is a coincidence or a suggestion, but sleeping makes me feel the huge influence of the group on the individual.
This influence is not strong, obvious, visible, but hidden and subtle. We may not be able to notice this influence at all.
In fact, this influence is everywhere.
A game-addicted child lives in a schoolmaster dormitory, and he will soon be promoted to a new schoolmaster. If a schoolmaster lives in a dormitory, he will become the same as others if he does not pay attention to it. This is not where I take it for granted, but with countless examples.
Le Pang analyzed the psychological status and way of thinking of the group, but hardly mentioned the influence of the group on individuals outside the group. In my opinion, this influence cannot be ignored.
Some groups have strong relationships, such as members of a certain party, members of a certain association, and employees of a company. Some groups are also weak, and may not seem to be groups. However, due to many common aspects such as living habits, lifestyle, and attitudes, they form an invisible group, for example, some people sleep late, some people like to eat, some like takeout, some like to play some games, and some like to run.
In fact, the more people they contact, the greater the impact. This is obvious-the groups at the other end of the earth will certainly have a hard impact on you, and those who get along on the day and night will be totally different.
We often say that the environment changes people, and I think the nature of the environment is the group.
We should pay attention to the influence of groups on people outside the group, because this influence is not a lesson, a command, or a conversation, and you cannot see it at all. But at some point, you suddenly find that you have become so different from the past. At this point, you should pay attention to it. If it is a good change, continue. If it is a bad change, just like yarma.
It is so difficult to stick to yourself that you will find so many straight roads wrong after looking back for years. Our lives are filled with different groups. They will have various influences on people, such as small, big, good, and bad. At this time, the most important thing is to stop at a certain time and ask yourself, should I do this?
