In the past few days, new graduate students will have an interview. Therefore, some prospective younger teachers and younger sisters will come to the lab for an interview from time to time. As the number of trainees increases, I feel more and more like writing something. I provided the course and did not know the review, but I also came in after an interview. It should be the same as my younger siblings, but now I feel strange, it seems that they didn't have any preparation for the interview, or simply said it was a great failure. Did I fail at the time?

First of all, let's talk about my feelings. There are also more than 20 people in the interview. The feeling is that when the interviewer goes out, I forget which one is, so when the teacher gave me some advice, he didn't know which one was. I remember a few questions from a professor-level teacher during my interview:

(1) In English, what should I ask about this school? (I did not say a few words in the last few days because I was prepared to introduce myself)

(2) other teachers read my materials and asked me many questions about what I have done, because I have participated in many competitions and have many certificates, I gave them something to be fooled. I guess the teacher doesn't quite understand it. As long as the logic is reasonable, they nodded. Just add some professional terms, the key is that there were several first prizes in China, and the teacher was very satisfied. I also talked about it for nearly 15 minutes. They also asked a question.

(3) A very abnormal teacher asked: in the sorting algorithm, the time complexity is irrelevant to the nature of the input instance. For example, I was very nervous and my mind was blank, I casually said something wrong. After a few arguments with the teacher, I just nodded. To be honest, that is! (Despised by the teacher)

(4) A teacher asked: In C ++ and C, there are several ways to reference global variables. This is a little simpler. Then the teacher nodded.

(5) A teacher asked: What is the integrity of discrete mathematical propositions? Which of the following ways of proposition reasoning are available?

The first question was said directly to the teacher. It took too long to remember.

The second problem is said in a very unprofessional language. First, the proposition is denied, and then a conflict is introduced. The teacher said: the reverse verification method. I quickly said yes! Then I spent half a day,

Did not say anything else. (I still know this, but I am too nervous to remember anything)

(6) A teacher asked: What is the control flow and flow in the network? The teacher asked how many threads could not use one port number?

I don't know what the second one is. I'm sorry to say that I have never learned it. The teacher said it was impossible, and the network must have said it. I don't know.

I am not sure about the second question, but I feel that 80% is okay. I just gave an example to the teacher. The teacher smiled and did not know right or wrong.

After asking these questions, I spent almost half an hour. Then the teacher said, all right, go out!

 

I came out at half past eight, and then the teacher came out at. I had five for 12 people, And I still ranked first (I stole the list, as if I had more than 80 points)

 

Later, I concluded that the interview was still very skillful. To tell the truth, it was relatively simple to ask me questions. When we talked about them, we asked them to talk about the ideas of a program on the spot, ask something that I don't know at all. I feel it's because they say they have done ACM, but the level hasn't reached the ACM level. One of them has been debating with the teacher for about 40 minutes, it was only known afterwards. At that time, we still guessed that it would have taken a long time and it would have been awesome! The result is that the teacher is very depressed and cannot be asked.

In short, you must have your own strengths during the interview. You must focus on the introduction and instruct the teacher to ask questions in this regard. Then, it is a bit of skill and euphemism to speak, don't blow yourself up, let alone argue with the teacher. It is estimated that students who send messages are more likely to make this mistake. In general, the score is not so important. What the teacher looks at is how your ability is. On the contrary, what best shows your ability is that you have a lot of certificates. This is hardware, and you can just put it there, you can also add points without talking. If you do not have a certificate, you have to explain what you have done in order to make the teacher feel that it is okay and you have done a good job. Don't ask the teacher to say that you have never done anything, or you don't remember it. Sometimes you have to say that you don't remember it.

Let's talk about the interview. I am very helpless. I would like to give some explanations first and then summarize the problem.

Note:

(1) almost no one has received the award (except for the scholarship), which may be similar to all the students. Therefore, if you have such a thing, It is very advantageous.

(2) almost no one has ever done anything. Apart from taking the postgraduate course, sometimes I may say something about it.

Our problem is as follows:

(1) first ask, what have you done?

A: No.

(2) ask about your course design, such as data structure, operating system, and database course design.

A: I can't remember it, or we don't have a course design for this course in our school. (You can just find something on the internet and figure out the principle. I'm just kidding the teacher, that's not enough. The teacher won't check your background again)

(3) In this case, we are helpless. Just ask, do you have any interests or hobbies? Have you ever performed Class Cadres? What do you think is the most brilliant thing in college? What do you want to do if you come to the lab? Reading blogs? .........

You can say a lot about these things. Unfortunately, if most of the teachers ask you this question, you probably have no hope!

 

Summary: sometimes it may be the case that all the people who come to the interview are like this. How can the teacher pick it up? Our standard is that people who can communicate well can also think about it. Never be too introverted, I can't tell you a few things about the transcript, but I can't tell you what to ask. This kind of person doesn't need it.

 

Personal feeling:

(1) the interview must be prepared in advance, prepared for what, and prepared for several highlights to fool the teacher. You can describe what others do as your own, but the premise is that you can understand the principle of that thing in advance and tell the teacher, of course, there is no need to have a strong person! If you say that for more than ten minutes, the teacher will tell you what to expect. The key is that you will blow and express yourself. I feel like I am not a professional person. I have been surfing the internet for several hours. Are you ready, the interview is also good.

(2) Most teachers pay attention to what you have done, which is more important than your scores. If you are studying all the things you have done before, advise you, before the interview, find a few suitable projects to understand the principles of the project, and talk to the teacher to ensure that you can pass the examination.

(3) be sure to be bold and be confident.
