Special Planning Analysis

Special planning analysis mainly includes infrastructure planning analysis, Greenland planning analysis, and traffic planning analysis.

Urban public facilities are the basic guarantee for maintaining the healthy operation of a city, and also reflect the vitality and modernization level of a city. At present, the public facilities in most cities are built along with the development of urban residential areas. During the development of residential areas, public service facilities are usually constructed starting from meeting their own needs, because the residential area is restricted by its scale and form, the public service facilities deployed in the residential area cannot fully meet the overall needs of the city. There will be many service blind spots from the scope of a large region to the whole city. These areas lack relevant public facilities; there will be a lot of densely populated areas with fewer public facilities, which cannot meet people's daily needs.

The Buffer Zone Analysis of GIS is used to input the service radius of public facilities of various levels to generate the corresponding buffer zone, which facilitates the discovery of service blind spots and the adjustment during planning and design, the population density chart is superimposed under the generated buffer zone to conveniently calculate the population of services required by each public facility and compare the population with the current service scale, it will soon be known that the scale of public facilities services is not enough, and new service facilities or expansion scale is required. Using the buffer analysis, spatial analysis, and statistical functions of GIS, you can get rid of the traditional method of planning and deploying public facilities based on the individual experience of planners, it facilitates the planning and design personnel to make public facilities planning and layout more scientific and reasonable.

There are three common types of infrastructure analysis:

First, through the buffer zone analysis, obtain the service radius of the infrastructure, and analyze the impact scope and coverage of the infrastructure. This article analyzes the overall infrastructure coverage of the city, evaluates whether the coverage of the infrastructure is reasonable, analyzes the coverage blind zone of the infrastructure, and rationally arranges the infrastructure layout. Based on the different service scopes of different public service facilities, different buffer zones are analyzed using GIS overlapping analysis and multiclass classification functions to analyze the existing service distribution and service blind spots, assists in the selection and planning of the distribution and scale of public service facilities.

Second, network analysis is required for a large number of distributed infrastructure to achieve optimal configuration, reduce maintenance costs, and improve efficiency. For example, the analysis of municipal spam sites and determine the optimal layout distribution.

Third, site selection analysis and evaluation are required for a small number of important infrastructure in the region, such as site selection for important fire-fighting settings and water and electricity facilities, to maximize their effectiveness.

Greenland system analysis refers to the use of GIS and other spatial information technologies for the monitoring and analysis of Greenfield. This can be used as a basic auxiliary Greenfield system planning.

Common Greenfield analysis includes the following types:

By using remote sensing and GIS, various green indexes are calculated, including green area rate and per capita green area. This is a basic indicator in the planning.

In addition, the principles of landscape science can be used to calculate the landscape indexes of various urban lawns, and to calculate the index values such as diversity and fragmentation to obtain the spatial differentiation pattern of the lawns, it also reflects changes in the size and characteristics of Greenfield.

Through the buffer zone analysis, the service radius of the Green space is obtained, and the impact scope and coverage population of the Green space are analyzed. This helps to analyze the rationality and structure of the Greenfield layout in the zone.

The accessibility of greenfield is calculated and analyzed, and the accessibility of urban population to greenfield is analyzed. The comprehensive efficiency of greenfield planning can be evaluated.

For traffic analysis, common traffic analysis is traffic direction network density calculation, network analysis, and traffic facility layout analysis. Among them, network analysis is the focus of traffic analysis, mainly the analysis and calculation of concepts such as accessibility and cost distance.
