You may learn from Microsoft's market news that we recently released the latest Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Customer Care accelerator (CCA R2 ). The CCA combines call center functions on a single user interface to display and manipulate data from different business applications. CCA provides many functions, including:

The core of CCA is a framework that allows developers to build their own proxy desktops and provide multi-session management and other functions. Ui integrates different types of applications (including web, Windows Forms, Java and Terminal Services), task automation, and so on. This development framework is called Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 user interface integration (uii ).

In addition to uii, we also provide a sample CCA Agent Desktop for a proxy desktop application developed by some ready-made CRM 2011 integration components to demonstrate how to use the development framework.

 

Installing uii on your computer is very simple. We provide a simple installation program (32-bit or 64-bit depends on your windows version) that will guide you through this process. There are several prerequisites required for uii. NET Framework 4.0 and Windows identity Foundation (WIF) must be installed first. Unfortunately, because WIF cannot run in Windows XP, the CCA Agent Desktop cannot run.

 

Earlier this week, I had the honor to spend a few days with Lee zuckett, the Solution Architect of the CCA team. He helped me start and run new products. He pointed out, A particular DLL cannot be included in the uii installer because some code is written by a third party and published on Microsoft's open source Website: http://www.codeplex.com.

The uii Deployment Guide includes a section titled "Integrating the WPF cab libraries with the composite UI Application Block", which explains how to download the source code from codeplex and then make some modifications and compilation, eventually you will get a file Microsoft. practices. compositeui. windows. DLL, you must deploy it under the uii installation directory on each proxy machine.

 

Although it is not very time-consuming, it is still a bit painful. In order to facilitate future calls, I copied a copy of the compiled file.
