Static constant members cannot be initialized directly?

There is no problem when initializing static shaping constants. But:

static const unsigned char * m_base64 = (unsigned char *) " Abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyzabcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz0123456789+/= ";

will prompt an error.
