I. Basic principles for shielding twisted pair connection modulesThere are many shielding methods for shielded twisted pair wires. However, no matter which shielding method is used, they must follow the same principle:
1. On the Distribution Frame Side or panel side, accurately measure the length to be retained and cut off excess cables.
2. Create a permanent tag on the shielded twisted pair wires.
3. Use a professional wire stripping knife to strip the outer skin of the twisted pair wire to avoid cutting the copper mesh or aluminum foil when peeling the outer skin. The cables are usually peeled off at 5cm from the end of the cable.
4. Carefully process the screen. The following section describes how to deal with different shielding methods)
5. carefully deal with each line, according to The TIA-568A or B standard, the blue-orange-green brown line into the corresponding groove respectively. Note that the same standard must be used for the entire shielded cabling system and cannot be mixed.
6. Cut off redundant line pairs. Card the module in place.
7. Overall shielding of the processing module.
8. After the module is installed, install the module on the panel or distribution frame and sort out the cables.
2. End-to-end connection of F/UTP
1. accurately measure the length to be retained. Cut off the excess cables and recreate the Permanent labels.
2. the cables are usually peeled off at 5cm from the end of the cables. the aluminum foil is flushed to one side of the cables, and the copper foil in the module packaging is attached to the strip of the cables. Note that the front and back sides of the aluminum foil must be reliably fastened. Then, the excess aluminum foil with copper foil is cut off.
3. according to the TIA-568A or B color label, the blue-orange-green brown line respectively into the corresponding card slot, it is best not to damage each line of the twist degree, note: if it is forced to change the twisting distance to ensure chromatography, the core line should be twisted, rather than let it be dispersed. Use a hand or dedicated tool to snap each line in place, use a eccentric clamp to cut off the redundant line, and manually or use a dedicated tool to install other parts of the module in place.
4. According to the configuration of the manufacturer, the shielding layer of the module can be reliably connected to the copper foil, and the whole shielding part of the module can be reliably installed in place.
5. to avoid the impact of bending torque caused by cable laying on the connection between cables and modules, the bending and torsion stress release device should be installed after the module is installed, fix the shielded cable together with the module.
6. After the module is installed, install the module on the panel or distribution frame and sort out the cables. On the panel side, note that the bending radius of the shielded cable is not too small; otherwise, the test may fail.
III. F/FTP connection
1. accurately measure the length to be retained.
3. Open the aluminum foil protection layer of the blue, orange, green, and brown cables and cut off the cables. According to the EN 50174-2002 standard, the aluminum foil of each cable can be grounded, while the aluminum foil on the outside must be grounded.
4. according to the TIA-568A or B color label, the blue-orange-green brown line respectively into the corresponding card slot, it is best not to damage each line of the twist degree, note: if it is forced to change the twisting distance to ensure chromatography, the core line should be twisted, rather than let it be dispersed. Use a hand or dedicated tool to snap each line in place, use a eccentric clamp to cut off the redundant line, and manually or use a dedicated tool to install other parts of the module in place.
