The difference between a foreground thread and a background thread

The foreground thread can block the end of the application until all foreground threads have terminated before the CLR shuts down the application. A background thread is also called a daemon thread, which is considered by the CLR to be a way to make sacrifices in program execution, which can be ignored at any time, so if all foreground threads are terminated, all background threads will be automatically terminated when the application domain is unloaded. It is worth noting that the foreground and background threads are not the same as the main thread and worker threads, and by default, threads created by the Thread.Start () method automatically become foreground threads. Setting the thread's IsBackground property to True allows the thread to be configured as a background thread.
