*res/raw and assets the same point:

The differences between *res/raw and assets:

The files in the 1.res/raw are mapped to the R.java file, which is accessed directly using the resource ID, that is, files under the R.id.filename;assets folder are not mapped to R.java, and Assetmanager classes are required when accessing.
2.res/raw can not have a directory structure, and assets can have a directory structure, that is, assets directory can be set up folder

* Read File resources:

1. Read the file resources under Res/raw and get the input stream to write in the following ways

· InputStream is =getresources (). Openrawresource (R.id.filename);
2. Read the file resources under assets and get the input stream to write in the following ways
· Assetmanager am = null;
· am = Getassets ();
· InputStream is = am.open ("filename");

Note 1: Google's Android system handles assert there is a bug, in the Assertmanager can not handle a single more than 1MB of files, otherwise it will report an exception, raw without this limit can put a 4MB Mp3 file no problem.

Note 2: The Assets folder is a native file that does not compile processing, that is, the files inside the folder are not like XML, the Java file is precompiled, you can store some pictures, Html,js, CSS and other documents.
