The difficulty of PHP with GUI

Choose PHP-GTK Bar, PHP-GTK development work stalled. The http://gtk.php.net/page says the next release "would come with support for GTK + 2.14 and 2.16, Cairo, and PHP 5.3."
Because I think the use of CLI mode, multithreading is good, but as in the information:

PHP-GTK 2.0.1 's API is still 2006. Multithreaded extension pthread requires no less than 5.3 (API for 2009 years) for PHP versions.

Choose PHP-QT, the PHP-QT project seems to be the Japanese tinkering, but also the development work stalled. The basic documents are not yet.

What is the expectation of this? It's not very promising.

PHP desktop application is very weak, and win under the file path Unicode processing is certain (for many years said in the resolution ...) Wait, wait.)

The web rarely requires a single acquisition of data, but the desktop is a basic requirement.


