Fault 1: Some computers in the local area can surf the internet

Failure phenomenon: Only a part of the local network computer can access the Internet, the other part of the Internet.

Fault reason: Because there are some computers in the LAN can surf the Internet, so the basic decision router hardware is no problem. If the computer does not have a problem, it cannot connect to the Internet because the ISP restricts the number of users who have access to the Internet in the LAN. The limiting method is to bind the MAC address of some computers on the authentication server, and the users without bindings will not be able to surf the internet properly.

WORKAROUND: Use a network cable to connect the computer with the MAC address to the LAN port of the router, and notice that the router does not connect to the modem's connection; Then, using the MAC address cloning function of the router, the MAC address of the NIC is bound to the broadband router. View and bind to a computer MAC address that is not bound. Click "Start/Run" and enter "Cmd/k Ipconfig/all", where "physical Address" is the MAC for this computer.

Failure 2: Unable to dial the Internet

Symptom: Cannot access the Internet through normal dialing.

Failure reason: The router's address is set incorrectly.

Solution: Start IE browser, enter "192.168.16.1" in the Address bar, the system will be prompted to enter the login username and password, login into the router management interface, find "connection type", reset dial-up username and password can be.

Tip: If it is wired broadband, in the replacement of the router connected to the computer, the router will be power off before reconnecting.

Failure 3: Cannot enter the router Setup interface

Failure phenomenon: In IE browser address, enter the router management interface address, in the pop-up dialog box to enter the default login user name and password, but prompted errors, can not enter the management interface.

Failure reason: May be the router hardware connection is wrong.

Workaround: Check the router's connection in the following order, check that the router is connected to the computer correctly, and that the LEDs on the LAN port on the router are displayed correctly. If you can confirm that the hardware connection is correct and the router is good, you can start IE browser, click Tools/internet Options, select Never dial connection, click the LAN Settings button, and cancel all selected options.

Fault 4: The Web page is not open

Symptom: Can log on QQ normally, but can't open webpage.
