In Windows Vista, a feature called UAP is added-
User access protection(User access protection ). enabling UAP will enable the Least Privilege mode in your session state, even if you have full administrator permissions. when you are running ProgramYou need to use the elevated mode. For Windows, you need to enter a password to verify whether the permission can be upgraded to run the application. many people speculate that Microsoft is doing this to a large extent to prevent the running of viruses and worms-because they often run quietly after a user with full rights logs in.
If you have used liunx, you should know that the su command can improve the permissions, but Vista is more like setting user permissions in Ubuntu -- Ubuntu does not allow you to set the root user password during installation, therefore, you cannot log on with the root user. the operations to be authorized must be run after the permissions are upgraded through Su or sudo, all you need to do is enter the password of the user you log on to. This seemingly tedious operation can be of great help for misoperations and the automatic running of suspicious programs.
