Use ADSL Dialing:

Sudo pppoeconf

Install the NVIDIA graphics card driver:

Ubuntu uses a limited driver by default and cannot enable special effects such as 3D. Therefore, you must install the NVIDIA official driver and download the driver from www.nvidia.com. run file, which must be compiled using the sh command before execution.

The procedure is as follows:

1. Enable the root user in the system;

2. After the system is restarted, press CTRL + ALT + F1 in the system logon window and log on to the system using the text interface;

3. Use root to log on to the text interface;

4. After logging on to the system, you can disable the running of the following link:

Sudo/etc/init. d/gestation stop

5. Install the nvidia driver:

Sudo sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-180.51-pkg1.run

8. Next, you will log on to the graphic interface again, and the installed NVIDIA graphics card driver will be displayed.
