In Linux, I think the use of the translation software is good. It is very convenient. It feels like Kingsoft on Windows.
1. Install
We can download the software rpmpackage directly at http://stardict.sourceforge.net/on the official website of starnet, and then install it directly. You can also install it online through Yum or apt. For example, in Ubuntu, APT is more convenient. Enter the following command:
Sudo apt-Get install stardict
You can install starship online, as shown below:
Reading the package list... complete
Analyzing the dependency tree of the software package
Reading status information... complete
Stardict is the latest version.
The following software packages are automatically installed and are not required now:
Linux-headers-2.6.32-21 linux-headers-2.6.32-21-generic
Use 'apt-Get autoremove 'to delete them.
0 software packages have been upgraded, 0 new software packages have been installed, and 0 software packages have to be uninstalled. 142 software packages have not been upgraded.
Since I have already installed it, this step only upgrades the starship.
2. Install dictionary
By default, Starship does not contain a dictionary. We need to install it. The URL http://stardict.sourceforge.net/dictionaries_zh_cn.php contains all the acronyms in simplified Chinese. We need to download the selected dictionary, decompress it, and put it in the default dictionary directory of the interstellar translation king. Restart the dictionary.
Take the simplified version of Oxford English-Chinese dual-solution on the web page as an example. Click tarbal to download it. After downloading the package, place it in "~ /Download the directory (Ubuntu 10.04) and run the following command to decompress it:
Sudo tar-xjvf stardict-3.0.2-RC1.tar.bz2
Decompress the package to get the folder stardict-3.0.2, and place it in the default Dictionary of the interstellar translation King directory/usr/share/stardict/DIC. The command is as follows:
Sudo MV stardict-3.0.2/usr/share/stardict/DIC
Then restart the interstellar translation king to find that the dictionary has been loaded. The loading of other dictionaries is similar, and the steps are not repeated.
Of course, you can also use the network dictionary to open the software, click the fourth icon in the left column, "select dictionary group", and then tick "enable Network Dictionary.
