Ubuntu under test ssh when using ssh localhost command, error message appears connect to host localhost Port 22:connection refused

The cause of this error may be that Ssh-server is not installed or is not started. Ubuntu 11.10 Installs openssh-client by default, but Wood has the installation server

Run Ps-e | grep ssh to see if there is an sshd process

If not, the server is not started, the server process is started through/etc/init.d/ssh-start, if the prompt is not available, then the server is not installed

Install with the sudo apt-get install openssh-server command
