Pie chart I'm trying to draw a pie chart with an average cut of 3 parts (no hotspots or pictures), each with a different color. 1/3 Circle for Red, 1/3 Blue, 1/3 yellow. It's easy to do with a pen, but how to implement it in the FW in a simpler way? --B.
Draw a circle first. Color is not important at this time, because we have to change it. Pull the auxiliary line into the middle of the circle to form a cross.
Tip: If you click with the Subselection tool before dragging the guides, you will see all the nodes so that the exact position of the guides will be displayed.
Activate the polygon (polygon) tool, then select Star from its options panel (Sides) = 3, Angle (Angle) =1 or 2. Place the cursor at the intersection of the guides in the circle, hold down the SHIFT key, and drag the cursor along the guide to the top of the circle. Be sure to drag the Shard line out of the edge of the circle 10pixels and then release the mouse.
This completes the drawing of a divided graph.
Next, choose Edit > select all, Modify (Modify) > Union (Combine) > Punch (Punch). The final step for splitting the circle is to select Modify (Modify) > Split (Split). Now each section can fill the color individually.
The star angle we choose makes the center of the circle leave a void, so we have to fill them. I found it best to enlarge the graph to 200%, activate the Subselection tool, and use it to drag the nodes inside the gap so that the three slices are really bridged together.
The end step is to select all three sectors, select Modify (Modify) > Build Groups (Group). Now you can do the graphics to do further processing or output.
