Use proxychains to install Dropbox on Ubuntu

Source: Internet
Author: User

I have been tossing Ubuntu for several years, but it has always been a dual-system or virtual machine. Recently, windows has been completely abandoned.
Next, we will use Dropbox for data synchronization. Transfer to Ubuntu is no exception, because Dropbox has been installed by the wall, so I thought of taking the proxy.

Shadowsocks

Here is not much said, Shadowsocks-Qt5.

Proxychains

I encountered some problems when using version 3, so I suggest using version 4 directly.

# Installation
Git clone https://github.com/rofl0r/proxychains-ng.git
./Configure -- prefix =/usr -- sysconfdir =/etc
Make
Sudo make install
Sudo make install-config

# Modify socks4 127.0.0.1 9050 to socks5 127.0.0.1 1080
Vi/usr/local/etc/proxychains. conf

# Use
Proxychains4 telnet google.com 80
Dropbox

Proxychains4 dropbox start-I

After the Dropbox is started, it will be automatically downloaded and installed. After login, you can use the configuration option to go through the proxy
