Use the exec () method in the Regular Expression of JavaScript

This article describes how to use the exec () method in the Regular Expression of JavaScript. It is the basic knowledge of getting started with JavaScript. For more information, see

 

 

The exec method is a text search string matched by a regular expression. If a match is found, an array of results is returned. Otherwise, null is returned.
Syntax

RegExpObject.exe c (string );

The following is the detailed information about the parameters:

  • String: string to be searched

Return Value:

  • If a match is found, and if it is not null, the matched text is returned.
