Deletefile Method

Deletes a specified object.

Object.DeletefileFilespec [, force]

Parameters

Object

Required. The name of FileSystemObject.

Filespec

Required. The name of the file to be deleted.FilespecThe last part of the path can contain wildcards.

Force

Optional. Boolean value. If you want to delete a read-only file, the value isTrueOtherwiseFalse(Default ).

Description

If no matching file is found, an error occurs.DeletefileMethod stops when the first error occurs. This method does not cancel any changes made before the error occurs.
