The operation of a large website project is inseparable from the close collaboration of a team. This team consists of two parts: Operation and Development. However, there are significant differences between operators and developers in terms of experience, role, and cognitive level, this will inevitably lead to conflicts and conflicts in many aspects of website planning, development, and launch. In all stages of planning, development, and operation, operators should clearly analyze and describe project development requirements as much as possible to facilitate acceptance and implementation by developers. System and technical analysis based on requirements is the main task of developers. Sometimes the Implementation Description of operational requirements is indeed vague, which requires developers and analysts to constantly communicate with operators and "translate" them to provide the optimal logical processing mechanism for system implementation.
If operators can consider the website system architecture as much as possible and provide more detailed logic relationships in the overall requirement planning, developers can also focus on understanding the operational intent of the requirements, grasp the demand direction and segment it, then the above problem can be solved.
How can Operations and developers communicate effectively? When communicating with developers, operators often talk about the situation. What operators think about is whether the website reflects the original intention? Is it easy for users to perform operations and daily management? How can I adjust the layout to make my website more attractive? Most developers consider whether the website is designed and implemented according to the requirement specification? Where are program vulnerabilities and redundancy? If the query conditions are too complex, will the overall performance of the website be affected? During communication, both parties will point out the shortcomings of the other party according to their own thinking, making communication difficult.
To solve the problem of effective communication, we must first strengthen business learning. It is difficult to operate the operating system without understanding the technology or considering the system performance, implementation mechanism and feasibility. In the same way, the development is not only based on tasks, but also on the requirement specification. If you cannot fully understand the development intent, the developed website is too mechanical to meet your needs. Secondly, we should be good at listening to and affirming the demands of the other party. In the spirit of empathy, we should try our best to understand the motives behind the other party's complaint and continuously give positive feedback. It must be understood that operation and development are mutually reinforcing and inseparable. Mutual recognition and encouragement are much greater than encouragement between the same roles.
