What is the difference between timer service recycle and direct restart timer service?

The target of the "timer service Recycle" job is to recycle (restart) the timer service, that is, owstcle. EXE. after you click "Run now", this job will not take effect immediately. after the user clicks "Run now", the job will add a tag and wait for all existing timer jobs to end, then clean up and recycle the timer service in a peaceful manner.

 

If you want to determine whether the timer service has been recycled, you can check the PID in task manager. If the PID has changed, the timer has been recycled.
