When using JavaScript to create a table, use cellspacing instead of cellspacing.

Today, I encountered a problem. I tried to create a table using JavaScript and wanted to generate the following HTML:

<Table cellpadding = "0px" cellspacing = "0px">
...
</Table>
I used the followingCode:

VaR _ tableroot = Document. createelement ("table ");
_ Tableroot. setattribute ("cellspacing", "0 ");
_ Tableroot. setattribute ("cellpadding", "0 ");

The HTML generated by IE and Firefox is as shown above. In theory, the desired effect should appear. But actually, cellspacing and cellpadding do not work in IE.

Finally, I found a solution (the same case was found after Google ):

Use CellSPacing instead of cellspacing

Use CellPAdding instead of cellpadding

That is:

_ Tableroot. setattribute ("cellspacing", "0 ");
_ Tableroot. setattribute ("cellpadding", "0 ");
